Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas is a massive ships with plenty to see and do. Though the shows can change with each trip, here’s a list to help you know what kinds of shows to expect on-board the Oasis of the Seas:
Plays and Musicals
During our cruise, we saw Cats, a hit Broadway musical about, you guessed it, cats. The musical, composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and based off a book of poetry by T.S. Eliot, follows the Jellicles cat tribe as they make the Jellicle Choice that determines which cat goes to the Heaviside Layer and begins a new life.
Divers, dancers, and acrobats come together for Oasis of Dreams, a high-diving show that is in high demand on the ship, where Olympic-level divers splash into the deepest pool at sea. This show had to be rescheduled on our trip because of multiple days of rain.
Ice Skating Show
Frozen in Time was a great show, though it was mostly aimed at kids, that retold some Hans Christian Anderson’s most famous fairy tales on ice, including “The Ugly Duckling”, “The Emperor’s New Clothes”, “The Red Shoes”, and “The Snow Queen”.
Come Fly With Me is a Cirque du Soleil-esque show with music and dancing and lots of incredible acrobatics. The performers sail above the audience, walk up walls, and so many other cool tricks that aren’t to be missed!
