What You Need To Know About Visiting the Marietta Square Market

Marietta Square Market Exterior, Marietta, Georgia

Marietta’s very own food hall recently opened just off of the historic Marietta Square. Here’s what you need to know about visiting the new Marietta Square Market:

All About Marietta Square Market

Marietta Square Market, opened on March 28, 2019, is Marietta’s own food hall, replicating the success of Atlanta’s Krog Street Market and Ponce City Market. The food hall houses 19 food concepts across many different culinary specialties. One concept even takes up residence in the antique trolley car that sits on the outdoor patio of the food hall.

The Market is set against the Downtown Marietta train tracks and features a train station theme. The 18,500-square-foot food hall is modeled after an early 20th century train station and features a 1922 streetcar, the same type that ran between Marietta and Atlanta from 1905 through 1944. When a train passes by, the whole building rattles.

It can be hard to find seating for a large group when the food hall is crowded, but there is covered outdoor seating as well.

This is a great option for getting some casual lunch or dinner and then heading back to Marietta Square to do some antique shopping or hitting the bars.
