Days Inn by Wyndham Cave City, hotel in Cave City

Offering an outdoor pool and free WiFi access, this motel in Cave City is 15 minutes’ drive away from the Mammoth Cave National Park. A flat-screen TV is provided in each guestroom at Mammoth Lodge.

You were easy to find, both online and in person. Staff member was pleasant and helpful, but she had no back up. That needs to be considered when somebody needs a minute of personal time to take care of their personal needs.

Econo Lodge, hotel in Cave City

Econo Lodge is located in Cave City, within 30 miles of Paul Walker Golf Course and 31 miles of The Golf Course at Riverview.

The location wasn't horrible as it was right off the highway and nearby most of what we wanted to do. There were so many "smaller" caves in the area that are well worth a visit (Crystal Onyx Cave, Onyx Rock Cave & Rock Shop). If we did have to drive it was 20-30 minutes to the bigger adventures in the area (Mammoth Caves, Bowling Green).

Holiday Inn Express - Horse Cave, an IHG Hotel, hotel in Cave City

This hotel is 3 miles from downtown Horse Cave and is 6.5 miles from the Guntown Mountain Amusement Park. The hotel offers an indoor pool and rooms with free WiFi.

By all accounts this is a pretty standard Holiday Inn. The facilities were nice enough. There was a pool that was being readily enjoyed by many guests. But the big thing - and it really is a big thing - is that when we realized that we had left our favorite stuffy at the hotel, the whole staff mobilized to make sure that he got home to us safely. He even got to help work the front desk checking in customers for the few extra days that he stayed in Horse Cave. We're thrilled to be reunited and can't say enough good things about the staff at Holiday Inn Express Horse Cave who helped to make sure that Moo could travel safely through the mail so our bedtimes feel safe again.

    Great friendly place.

Great friendly place. Plenty of antique shops and things to do. Great restaurant. Haunted Hotel we wants to go thru was permanently closed so hoping someone opens it back up. We are planning second trip already to see more.

Went for Grand Historic Tour but wish our trip allowed time for hiking some of the trails. Plan to return next year and do a different tour along with hiking. Our Ranger (guide) was outstanding with a vast amount of historical knowledge of the cave and a great sense of humor as well.

Enjoyed proximity to the activities we planned. Restaurant situation is not great but we made it work..I would avoid the Mexican restaurant adjacent to the motel. It's cute outside but the food is meh.

Everyone in our family ages 18. months to 68years old...

Everyone in our family ages 18. months to 68years old enjoyed our first cave experience. Our guide was peppered with questions from all of us and she replied with the same energy that our group was giving. The 3 year old informed us that she had bevome BFF's with our tour guide. The cave was an amazing sight to behold. Formations made with water, minerals, and time simply but beautiful.

So much to do in the area.

So much to do in the area. Sleep in a wigwam at the historic Wigwam Village No.2 (Great stop for motorcyclists and families) Caverns, attractions, landmarks, great views and minutes from other attractions like the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Beech Bend Park and Raceway and beautiful Barren River State Park. Great area for motorcycling off the interstate via US31W and US31E that will take you from the Ohio River at Louisville, KY, and south to Lebanon and Nashville, TN.

we enjoyed our time at Mammoth Caves, the park is well run and the tours are informative and great to see. Pick a tour that fits your energy and physical level of fitness. We did a 5mile hike around the park, good paths to follow and well marked.

Historic factor, uniqueness factor, and privacy of not sharing walls with another unit and a private parking spot. The bed was actually extremely comfortable and I appreciated and very nice comforter on the bed, I can't stand newspaper feeling cheap hotel blankets and this was the exact opposite of that, fantastic.

Stayed in Cave City on our way through to Graceland. I chose it for the low rental rate but was impressed at how clean and comfy the rooms were. I was trying to get another room on our way back through to Michigan but they were no rooms left for that date. I would definitely recommend.

The room itself was very clean, great quality sheets and towels. The location was also very nice and was surrounded by lots of food options within walking distance. With other hotel options all around, the property was not very busy which made our stay quiet, which we appreciated.

Clean room/ quiet I will stay there again on my next trip The fact that there is a sign on the front desk stating they will not book a room for anyone that lives within 50 miles means no loud hotel parties which was a plus. All the staff members were awesome
