Unlike the theme parks in Florida, there weren't many people there. That's a good thing. However, there didn't seem to be too many things to do for older kids. We rode in the Sky Lift to the top of the mountain which was pretty cool. We also rode in the train, but that was about it. The problem was that we arrived early afternoon. By 6:00, my two teenagers, 62 year old sister -in-law and 90 year old mother-in-law were exhausted. Nobody wanted to stay for the laser light show which I believed would've been the highlight of our visit to Stone Mountain. That part left me disappointed. My advice, go later in the afternoon.

Dirty and the facility looked as if it were abandoned.

Dirty and the facility looked as if it were abandoned. I stayed here 8 years ago and it was beautiful. That is why I came back. It is very run down and needs updates and to be cleaned. I think the pictures online were from several years ago.

The Mountain is beautiful with strong history.

The Mountain is beautiful with strong history. The train ride was short, but sweet. We did not get a chance to go to the top of the mountain, due to windy conditions the cable car was not being used. The park is beautiful!

I'm moving here, so it had to be great. It was.

I'm moving here, so it had to be great. It was. Better than expected. People here are so friendly. They bend over backwards to help. Same for Decatur, and I drove between the two for my check list.

The location is right at the center of shopping, tourist attractions and Stone Mountain village. We didn't visit the village, but we did eat out at several nearby places, and even walked to the Walmart across the street. For parents, it might be good to know the hotel sits right behind a movie theater, so that might help keep everyone occupied. The hotel staff was quite good, especially at a busy time at Christmas. We were checked in easily, got right to our room, and found the beds comfortable and the shower very nice. There are outside lights shining in through the big windows, but fortunately they have blinds to help darken the room. My wife used the gym and was happy to find a decent selection of machines (and towels) there.

    Stone Mntn Park was awesome!

Stone Mntn Park was awesome! So beautiful and so many different things to do. The mountain climbing was spiritual and watching so many families and individuals enjoying park facilities was great. We paid the $20 parking fee and enjoyed it immensely! We could have paid the extra for a ticket to do extras but it wasn't necessary to enjoy the parks grounds and have a great time. We're going to make it an annual trip!

coffee was OK, breakfast supplies were slim even when covid issue was considered. lack of staff seemed to be the issue. Parking area was limited causing especially in back of hotel causing vechiles with trailers to use 3-4 parking spaces in front. Price for room remained higher even when above issues are taken into consideration. the primary positive factor was the queen bed mattress was very comfortable and the pillows were great.

Location is great for Stone Mountain Park. There are plenty of restaurants around the area as well. The Breakfast was good with several different grab and go options. They had eggs and sausage one day and biscuits and gravy on our 2nd day. The indoor pool was great and my kids really enjoyed it. Staff is very friendly! The entire hotel was well kept and clean.

The location is stunning, the rooms are comfortable, the hotel is clean and has lits of facilities.the staff are polite and helpful. Angela on the front desk was especially helpful. We had a situation with our car breaking down and having to be towed and Angela could not have been more helpful. She is an asset to this hotel.

My room was large, overlooking the garden, a quiet oasis. The king bed was very comfortable bed. Stone Mountain Manor is a beautifully restored old house in charming Stone Mountain, at the edge of Stone Mountain Park. I stayed for two weeks while visiting family and felt at home.

This place is way more than you will ever expect. Since the entrance to the park, all the activities around the same premises to the hotel itself...everything is stunning! The pictures in google don't do justice to what you will enjoy there! I can't wait to return to this place!

Room was very comfortable for a family of 5. The sofa bed was broken when we arrived and they quickly find a way around to get another in my room. Friendly staff. Location very close to Stone Mountain Park and free breakfast was a plus.
