Deluxe King Guestroom

We stayed in a Deluxe King Guestroom at the Rustic Inn Creekside. These rooms are located near the front of the property, just behind the Lobby and Bistro buildings. They’re in a classic motel-style set-up with doors that face exterior to the parking lot.

The room has a king bed with a double pillow top mattress. There’s an arm chair and foot stool, desk and chair, large dresser, end tables, a flat screen TV, a coffee maker, and a beverage cooler in the room. The walls look to be made of logs, the comforter has a Western tribal design, and the bathroom has a picture of a gunslinging Western gal.

The bathroom is large and luxurious with a roomy walk-in shower, plush towels, a bathrobe, and Molton Brown bath products.

Outside the room are some lawn chairs that make a great spot to sit and enjoy the weather while you wait for the rest of your group to head out for the day.

Cabins & Other Guestrooms

The Cabins are the Rustic Inn‘s signature accommodations. These are located throughout the property along the creek, by the pool, and facing interior walkways.

These private cabins are all completely detached, so you have all four walls to yourself. They all have their own private porches with Adirondack chairs so you can enjoy the wildlife and views that are just outside your door. Rooms come with either a king bed or two queens. Some cabins come with extra space and an additional seating area. The bathrooms all have rain showers and luxury bath products.

The Queen Guestrooms come with two queen beds, a fireplace, an additional sitting area, and private balconies. The bathrooms have luxury bath products.

The Spa Suites are located in their own secluded oasis centered. There are 5 different styles of suites with one and two bedrooms. Rooms feature a large soaking tub, pillowtop mattresses, seating areas, and some have balconies.

All Spa Suite guests receive dedicated butlers service and exclusive amenities like enhanced breakfast options, turn-down service, spa access, a private lobby bar, and exclusive hot tup and fire pit access.

Rustic Inn Creekside Amenities

The Rustic Inn Creekside has some great amenities! My favorite was the heated outdoor swimming pool with a hot tub and sauna. The pool is open year-round, so you can enjoy it no matter the weather. The hot tub and sauna were so cozy on a cold evening.

There’s also a fitness center with ellipticals, treadmills, free weights, and weight lifting machines. And you can walk around the Flat Creek Nature Walk that runs through a wildlife preserve centered around a pond. Plus, in their Adventure Cabin Gift Shop you can find all the gear you need for outdoor adventures, in both summer and winter.

The full-service boutique spa is the perfect place to recharge. They offer massages, hair and calp treatments, soaks, facials, and body treatments. There’s a dry sauna, a eucalyptus steam room, and an outdoor fireside hot tub as well.

The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle that will take you to the Square. It’s only a 15 minute walk to the Square, so the ride is even quicker!

They even have thoughtful touches like bottles of water left in your room daily, coffee and teas and even apple cider available in the lobby 24/7, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property.

Dining at Rustic Inn Creekside

The Rustic Inn Bistro is the on-site restaurant in the lobby of the hotel. They have a cozy lounge seating area, an outdoor patio for dining in the summer, and a few intimate tables in a small wine cellar area.

The Bistro has a full-service bar and a seasonal menu that specializes in prime steak and local game. It’s open for dinner daily, and the hotel offers room service daily. There are seasonal closures for the bar and bistro during the winter and early spring.

Your room comes with free breakfast at the breakfast buffet in the upstairs dining room. The buffet has pastries, bagels, toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, cereal, oatmeal, eggs, bacon, sausage, and breakfast potatoes. They also offer Starbucks Coffee, Tazo teas, juices, and hot apple cider.

Benefits of Staying at the Rustic Inn Creekside

The Rustic Inn Creekside Resort & Spa is the perfect place to stay in Jackson and the Grand Tetons!

This hotel has an amazing location just on the edge of the town of Jackson. You’re only a few minutes from the Square and a short drive from the airport and the start of Grand Teton National Park. You can easily walk (or take the complimentary shuttle) into the Square and find a bunch of restaurants and shopping. Plus, head out early in the morning and you can easily beat the traffic to Grand Teton.

If you’re looking for a mix of rustic and luxury, then this is your best choice. The cozy log-cabin-style rooms and private cabins are perfect for your Western vacation.

While most every accommodation in Jackson is expensive (and this is no exception), the amount of amenities, free breakfast, and great location make the price worth it.

What I didn’t love

While we enjoyed our stay at the Rustic Inn, there are a few potential drawbacks I wanted to mention.

The rooms feel a little dated. Now, that could be due to the rustic decor, and the brown color scheme certainly doesn’t help. That said, we stayed in a couple different rooms over the course of our Yellowstone and Grand Teton trip (we bookended our vacation with stays here), and I didn’t notice any issues in quality in either of our rooms.

The hotel is expensive. You wouldn’t expect a hotel like this to cost this much if it were in another location. But this is Jackson Hole and everything is expensive. When I compared it to other options for booking our trip, the price was pretty average for hotels in Jackson.

Good to Know

  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Free parking
  • Complimentary shuttle to the Square
  • Free breakfast
  • Open during the winter, with seasonal closures at the on-site restaurant
  • Year-round heated pool and hot tub

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Rustic Inn Creekside Resort & Spa!

I loved the location of the hotel. It was so easy to walk into town, and we were just a few minutes drive from Grand Teton National Park and the airport (which meant we didn’t have to wake up as early to get a start on the day).

We enjoyed spending an evening relaxing in the hot tub and the sauna. It was a nice little bit of luxury before heading out into nature.

Who Should Stay at the Rustic Inn Creekside?

Nature Preserve at Rustic Inn Creekside Resort and Spa at Jackson Hole, Jackson, Wyoming

The Rustic Inn Creekside Resort & Spa is perfect for couples who want a luxury National Park getaway with rustic vibes (but without actually having to rough it).

The private cabins and cozy rooms make for a great romantic getaway. If you want extra pampering, then you’ll love their Spa Suites!

It can be a great getaway for groups, as well. My family enjoyed each having our own rooms, but still being right next door to one another. We could wait out on our individual porches and enjoy the scenery while we waited for everyone to get ready.

We also saw plenty of families staying here. The kids love the pool and hot tub, plus there’s always a chance you’ll see some exciting wildlife right outside your door.

This definitely isn’t a cheap stay, so if you’re on a budget then I recommend looking elsewhere. Still, I found the value great for the price, and it’s certainly not the most expensive stay in Jackson.
