Courtyard by Marriott Titusville Kennedy Space Center Review

The Courtyard by Marriott Titusville Kennedy Space Center is a space-themed hotel that’s super close to the Kennedy Space Center. Learn more about staying here in my Courtyard by Marriott Titusville Kennedy Space Center review.

This hotel is out-of-this-world with its rooftop bar views of the the launch pad, resort-style pool and hot tub, and close proximity to Kennedy Space Center (just a 10 minute drive, it’s one of the closest hotels to KSC!).

Kevin and I stayed at the Courtyard Titusville Kennedy Space Center on our visit to the iconic space museum. We loved everything the hotel had to offer, from the space-themed touches to the pool. Read on for my full review of the Courtyard by Marriott Titusville Kennedy Space Center.

Courtyard by Marriott Titusville - Kennedy Space Center, Florida

Courtyard by Marriott Titusville Kennedy Space Center Review

The Courtyard by Marriott Titusville Kennedy Space Center opened in 2022 just 6.4 miles from the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

The hotel quickly became a hot destination with its rooftop deck with a bar and restaurant that offers the perfect launch pad views, an outdoor resort-style pool with a hot tub and a kids’ splash pad, a full-service bistro, and even a Starbucks Grab & Go.

The Guest Room

The Courtyard by Marriott Titusville Kennedy Space Center has 152 rooms, with 130 regular guest rooms, 14 guest suites, and 8 ground-floor walkout rooms, four of which have firepits.

We stayed in a regular guest room with a king-sized bed and an inland view. The bedroom itself is pretty simple, your standard hotel room with a bed, desk area, extra seating, and en-suite bathroom.

It’s the little touches of space-themed and cosmic elements that make the room special, though. Murals from the Hubble Space Telescope create the headboard for the bed.

On the desk, there’s a book of photographs from the NASA archives and a pair of binoculars that you can scan the skies with. On the bedside table, there’s an astronaut-shaped projector that plays nebulas on the ceiling (you can take him home with you for an extra charge).

Even the furniture design is sleek like the curves of a space shuttle with a mid-century feel that harkens back to the days of the Space Race.

The Amenities

One of the hotel’s crowning amenities is it’s large outdoor resort-style pool with a children’s section, a hot tub, cabanas, and a pool bar. Nearby is the 24-hour fitness center, complete with plenty of training equipment.

Business travelers can take advantage of the 700-square-foot meeting room. There are also charging stations for electric cars for the technology-driven visitors.

In the lobby, you’ll find the Bistro with a bar and outdoor seating. It serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails as well as Starbucks coffee in the morning.

And up on the roof is the hotel’s premier attraction, The Space Bar (so good it gets its own section down below!).

The Space Bar

The Space Bar is the rooftop bar and restaurant at the Courtyard by Marriott Titusville.

From here, you’ll get unobstructed views of the Indian River, Kennedy Space Center, and launch complexes 39A and 39B.

On the menu, you’ll find sandwiches, bowls, small snacks, salads, specialty desserts, and space-inspired cocktails.

To drink, I had the Causeway Cosmo made with vodka, lime juice, cranberry hibiscus, and edible glitter. Kevin had the Intergalactic Planetary made with lemon vodka, coconut rum, elderflower liqueur, and Blue Curacao.

It’s a casual space with high tops, bar seating, and comfy lounge seating. And, boy, can it get windy up there!

Lobby, Courtyard by Marriott Titusville - Kennedy Space Center, Florida

The Courtyard by Marriott Titusville Kennedy Space Center is one of the closest hotels to Kennedy Space Center. It’s only 6.4 miles and a 10 minute drive from the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

It has a great view of launches. You can book a room that faces KSC or head up to the Space Bar. Even if you aren’t visiting during a launch, you’ll still love the views across the river.

You get a resort-style pool without the resort prices. I love that the pool has cabanas, a pool bar, and a play area for the kids (or the kids-at-heart).

It’s also one of the best places to stay in Titusville and is a great location for exploring Titusville for a weekend.

What I didn’t love

While we enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Titusville Kennedy Space Center, there are a few potential drawbacks I wanted to mention.

The rooftop bar and the lobby bar can be pretty noisy at night. If you have a room located near either of those, you may have to deal with noise.

My Experience at the Courtyard by Marriott Titusville Kennedy Space Center

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Titusville Kennedy Space Center!

I loved the hotel’s commitment to the space theme, and we put the little astronaut projector on and relaxed with the nebulas playing across the ceiling as we watched a space-themed movie. I thought the room was very spacious, clean, and cozy.

The location was perfect for us to explore Titusville and visit the Kennedy Space Center.

I especially liked going up to the rooftop bar and having a drink overlooking the river and the launch pads. Such a unique experience, and I would love to be able to witness a launch from there!

Who Should Stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Titusville Kennedy Space Center

The Courtyard by Marriott Titusville Kennedy Space Center is the perfect stay for space-enthusiasts. The hotel is one of the closest to KSC, plus the launch viewing opportunities from the rooftop are unrivaled.

It’s a great hotel for families, with its space amenities that the kids will love (like the astronaut projector), resort-style pool with kids’ splash pad area, oversized games, and firepit perfect for roasting marshmallows.
