6 Best Atlantic Station Restaurants Worth Trying

Atlantic Station has plenty of places to eat, whether you’re grabbing lunch between shops, getting dinner before a movie, or meeting friends before an event.

As an Atlanta local, I’ve eaten around Atlantic Station plenty of times and found a few places I keep coming back to. In fact, Kevin and I had our first date at Atlantic Station, so it’s pretty special to us. Some Atlantic Station restaurants are better for brunch and drinks, while others are more fun for date night or a group dinner.

If you’re wondering where to eat at Atlantic Station, these are the restaurants I recommend starting with.

Where to Eat at Atlantic Station

1. Azotea Cantina

Mexican, Margaritas

Azotea Cantina is one of my favorite spots at Atlantic Station for margaritas and small bites on the rooftop.

Their chef-forward menu is full of fresh Mexican favorites like tacos and margaritas. I love visiting for their Happy Hour deals and enjoying appetizers and drinks on their rooftop patio.

I recommend the Queso Dip to share, the Bistec Alambre Tacos, and the Lavender Princess cocktail, the Passionate & Committed cocktail, a House Margarita, or their Strawberry Margarita to drink.

Best for: Rooftop drinks and happy hour.

2. HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern

Burgers, Pub

HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern is a great neighborhood hangout spot that’s perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. One of my favorite things is they have table top games that you can play while you wait for your food to arrive.

Their menu has burgers, sandwiches, and Southern-inspired pub food. I recommend the Big Time Wagyu if you’re in the mood for a burger or the Fried Chicken Sandwich.

This is also a great place for brunch with friends before an event at Atlantic Station. Our group likes to meet here for brunch before hitting the seasonal ice skating rink in the winter. Their Nutella French Toast is incredible!

Best for: Brunch with friends before an event.

3. Yard House

American, Pub

Grilled cheese and tomato soup from Yard House, Washington DC

Yard House is my go-to at Atlantic Station when I want a classic American bar with a much bigger food and beer menu. They have over 100 drafts on tap along with a selection of local, domestic, and imported beers.

Their menu has a mix of eclectic pub foods like sandwiches, burgers, tacos, pizzas, steaks, chicken, seafood, and even noodle dishes. My favorite is the Grilled Cheese & Tomato Bisque, but the Grilled Chicken & Avocado Sandwich is a close second.

Take advantage of their weekday happy hour deals for the perfect pick-me-up after a hard day of work. I also enjoy sitting on their covered patio and enjoying the weather in the spring.

Best for: Sports, beer, and a casual group meal.

4. Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ

Japanese, BBQ

Thin slices of marbled beef cook on a round tabletop grill, with some pieces still red and others beginning to brown. Small white bowls of side dishes surround the grill, creating a shared Japanese barbecue meal setting.

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ is one of the most unique restaurants at Atlantic Station. It’s a Japanese yakiniku (grilled barbecue) experience where you cook your dinner over a personal charcoal grill right at your table.

This is a great option for a date night or a group dinner. It’s a lot more interactive than your typical sit-down restaurant.

The menu includes a wide range of marinated meats, including skirt steak and short rib, along with appetizers, vegetables, rice dishes, and other sides to share. If you’re especially hungry, Gyu-Kaku also offers all-you-can-eat options on select days.

Best for: An interactive date night or group dinner.

5. SriThai Kitchen & Sushi Bar

Thai, Japanese

A plate of pad Thai is topped with bean sprouts, chopped peanuts, and long pieces of green onion, with a lemon wedge on the side. The glossy stir fried noodles and fresh garnishes fill a black plate on a wooden table.

SriThai Kitchen & Sushi Bar serves authentic Thai street food and handmade Japanese sushi rolls with a modern twist.

The menu includes Thai favorites such as curries, noodle dishes, and stir-fries alongside sushi rolls and other Japanese-inspired options.

SriThai is a great Atlantic Station restaurant for a casual lunch or dinner when you just can’t decide on one Asian cuisine. Plus, they have a Happy Hour with great deals on drinks and appetizers, and special events throughout the week like Sushi Night, Ladies’ Night, and Gentlemen’s Night.

Best for: Groups craving both Thai food and sushi.

6. Angry Crab Shack

Seafood, Cajun

A seafood boil is piled with shrimp, crab legs, sausage, red potatoes, and corn on the cob, all coated in reddish seasoning. The close up view highlights the mix of shellfish and hearty sides served together.

Angry Crab Shack is the perfect restaurant at Atlantic Station if you’re craving seafood.

Their most popular choice is the seafood boil, where you can customize your meal with your choice of seafood, sauce, and spice level. But if you don’t want to get messy, they have other Cajun and seafood favorites like po’boys, baskets, and bowls.

It’s probably not the restaurant you want for a first date, but it’s a great choice for a night out with friends.

Best for: A fun, messy seafood night with friends.
