  1. I have never been to Atlanta. I don’t love to wake up early, so love that there are so many options of activities to do after dark. That is so frustrating to visit a place and have hours so limited.

  2. Great article –you know what I liked best? Your list of places open in the evening! I find it particularly frustrating that so many museums and other attractions close at 5:00 pm or even earlier. When you’re in a large city, with time to explore, sometimes the evening hours are the most productive. (Unless everything is closed!)

  3. Never been to Atlanta. Didn’t know that most tourist hot spots close down at 5 p.m. That’s good to know, thanks.
The Atlanta History Center sounds like something I’d pick, even if it’d only be for half an hour, given that it’s open until 5,30. 😀

  4. OMG, the aquarium! <3 I was once at a private event there after hours. In my fancy dress and high heels, I rode the under the sea sidewalk through the fish for close to an hour. Then I took my plate of appetizers and a glass of wine and sat in front of the big tank with the silver school of fish for close to another hour. This Pisces just can't get enough!

    1. The Botanical Garden is wonderful! Weirdly enough, I’ve only been to the Gardens for their evening events, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen it during the day! lol

  5. Ooh I love Atlanta! These are great ideas! You should check out Sweet Water Brewery if you like beer. They have a great tap room and fancy barrel aging area that’s great for events or just a fun weekend trip.

    1. I’ve been to a few other breweries and cideries in the city, but I haven’t checked out SweetWater yet. I’ll have to add that to my to-do list! Thanks!
