They’ve been around since 1992 serving burgers and booze in two raunchily decorated locations (the other is in Midtown). Their locations are strictly 21+ only.
Vortex burgers are award-winning, made with big, fat half-pound patties of 100% premium ground sirloin. Try out burgers like the Freaky Tiki or the Ka’mana Wa’na Lei’ya. If you’re really adventurous, have one of their Bypass burgers, made with so much bacon, cheese, and meat, you may just need a coronary bypass afterward.

2. Wrecking Bar Brewpub
The old Victorian mansion that Wrecking Bar Brewpub is housed in has an interesting history. It’s been a home, a church, a dance studio, an architectural salvage store, and now a basement gastropub with beer crafted in-house.
There’s a little something for everyone here. On the menu, you’ll find dishes that are rooted in pub classics but with a unique twist, like the Falafel Burger or the Pastrami Sandwich made with kimchi and Korean chili-garlic mayo.
