Wild Adventures Christmas Wild & Bright Review

Wild Adventures Christmas Wild & Bright is the theme park’s big holiday extravaganza that takes place in late November through December each year.

They decorate the park with over 2 million lights. You can walk through light displays, see the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony each night, watch the synchronized light show set to music, and meet-and-greet with Santa and other holiday characters.

You get access to all of this plus all the park’s regular daytime attractions. So you can spend the day riding thrill rides, and then enjoy a holiday spectacular when the sun goes down!

This year’s Wild Adventures Christmas Wild & Bright takes place on select dates from November 21, 2025 through December 31, 2025.

Holiday Lights

There are over 2 million lights strung up around the park, and plenty of walk-through light displays to enjoy.

  • Woodland Outpost transforms Oasis Outpost into a bright festive area with a tunnel of towering reindeer.
  • The Wonder Walk transforms the Alapaha Trail to a 2.5-acre wonderland full of rainbow laser lights with holiday music.
  • The Tunnel of Stars is a magical passageway that lights the way to the Lakeside Stage. The Woodland Outpost is a bright display with towering reindeer.
  • The Glimmer Grove lights the path to the Woodland Outpost with twinkling lights springing from the ground.
  • And the Twinkling Timbers is a canopy of hanging lights that you can walk under.

Plus, you can enjoy the massive Carol of the Animals Lake Show along the Lake’s Edge. This colorful show lights up huge Christmas trees in the middle of the lake, which have synchronized lights set to music.

Christmas Shows

There are a bunch of other holiday shows to enjoy too!

  • You won’t want to miss the Carol of the Animals Lake Show with synchronized lights set to music.
  • The Spirit of Christmas Show features a crew of elves and a singalong to modern Christmas tunes. This show will put your holiday cheer to the ultimate test!
  • The Tree Lighting Ceremony invites one lucky child up to help light up South Georgia’s Largest Christmas Tree each evening.
  • The Miracle of Christmas Nativity brings to life the story of Christmas.

Festive Experiences

The holiday festivities just don’t stop at Wild Adventures Christmas Wild & Bright! Here are some more festive experiences you can expect:

  • The Candy Cane Express is a train trip through the Frosted Forest, Peppermint Path, and Lollipop Lane straight to Candy Cane Town.
  • Gingerbread Village has lakeside treats, live music, s’mores stations, and the chance to snap your picture as a gingerbread cookie.
  • Santa’s Snow Storm Party is probably the only snow storm you can expect in South Georgia. Walk through a snowstorm of foam to enter the twinkling blue Frosted Garden path that takes you to Santa.
  • Santa’s Outpost is where you can sit on Santa’s lap, enjoy story time with Mrs. Claus, or write a letter to Santa.
  • In Holly Jolly Junction, you can find Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Clarice, and Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster. Participate in reindeer games, decorate holiday cookies, and get a photo with your favorite characters.

Theme Park Fun

The great things about Wild Adventures Christmas Wild & Bright is the theme park rides are still open during the day, and you don’t need a separate admission to see the lights at night. So you can have an entire day filled with holiday fun!

You’ll be able to ride the park’s 40 rides and attractions, see a lot of the animals, and even feed the animals.

We got the Ultimate Animal Feeding Package and got to feed the giraffes, the birds in the Birdhouse, the alligators, and the goats at Liberty Farms Petting Zoo.

You can also play the carnival games, the kids can play in the play areas, all the regular dining options are open, and you can shop for gifts and souvenirs at all the gift shops (which have cute seasonal souvenirs!).

My Experience at Wild Adventures Christmas Wild & Bright

We had a lot of fun at Wild Adventures Christmas Wild & Bright!

We started off the day feeding the animals (it was our first time feeding a giraffe!). Then we rode some rides.

As the sun went down, we made sure to catch the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. We sampled a bunch of items from the Holiday Dining Pass. My favorite was the Hot Apple Cider and making S’mores by the fire.

When it was good an dark, we walked through all the Wild Adventures Christmas lights. I really enjoyed the Wonder Walk’s laser light display.

I even got the chance to see Bumble and get a holiday picture with him before we left!

Overall, it was a great holiday outing.
