2. Stroll along the Southbank Riverwalk
The Jacksonville Riverwalks are a network of trails along the north and south banks of the St. Johns River. A stroll along the Southbank Riverwalk, watching the riverboats and the downtown skyline reflected in the water, is the perfect time to cozy up to your date. Head north of Jacksonville to Amelia Island for a romantic horseback ride. The Kelly Seahorse Ranch at Amelia Island State Park is one of the best beach horseback riding outfitters in the greater Jacksonville area.
They offer the romance of beach horseback riding all year long. Horseback riding tours ride on a private beach-access trail to the remote beaches of the park where you can witness dolphins, shorebirds, and other island wildlife.
