You’ll peek behind the scenes and learn about what Trilith Studios has that other studios don’t, learn about the new urbanist Town at Trilith that supports the studios, and even visit inside a blank sound stage (if it’s available and nothing is filming there!).

I loved taking this tour, and it’s so unlike all the other filming location tours in Atlanta. On this tour, we got to see where the majority of the magic happens, from the enclosed sound stage to the outdoor special effects pad. And since it’s an active studio, you never know who you might see on set.

This 1.5 hour trolley tour takes you from Town at Trilith into the private studio lot of Trilith Studios. No photos are allowed at Trilith Studios, except in a couple approved areas which your guide will let you know about.

Best for: Film fanatics who want a behind-the-scenes look at where the magic happens.

You cannot tour Marvel Studios itself, but you can take a tour of the many Marvel movie filming locations in Atlanta as well as visit the primary studios for some of the films at the Trilith Foundation Studio Tour Experience.

  1. I had no idea so many movies were made in Atlanta – these look fun. I’m a bit weird, I always like to do the tours first and then watch the shows, so I can say oooh I’ve been there, saw that etc, lol.

  3. I am originally from Georgia and actually got the opportunity to go on the Walking Dead VIP tour and had such a great time!! I went with my entire family, as we would always watch the show together, and I would love to be able to do it again. I actually had no idea Stranger Things was filmed in Atlanta so that tour is definitely next on my list!
