Stone Mountain Christmas is full of your favorite holiday activities. You’ll have magical experiences and make precious memories that will last a lifetime.
You won’t want to miss the Snow Angel’s Christmas Parade as she brings magical cheer to the park.
The Christmas Drone Show is a must-see. A fleet of color-changing drones light up the sky in a 12-minute show of choreographed festive aerial formations synced to your favorite holiday music.
Celebrate the season with the World’s Largest Christmas Light Show. This 20-minute experience brings to life your favorite holiday songs with unique videos, special effects, and a fireworks finale.
Santa himself will make an appearance as he flies overhead in his sleigh each night during the Enchanted Tree Lighting Ceremony.
You can even meet the park’s very own Snow Angel, chat with Santa in his office, and immerse yourself in the Musical Frosted Forest full of beautiful lights and sounds.
Special Holiday Entertainment
During Stone Mountain Christmas, there are several unique live shows full of holiday cheer.
The park has its own rendition of A Christmas Carol. This hilarious take on Charles Dickens’ classic tale of redemption will have you laughing out loud.
You can also enjoy the Tinseltone Carolers as they sing some of your holiday favorite songs.
You even get to meet classic holiday friends. Rudolph, Bumble, and Clarice have come to visit from the North Pole! And I got to meet Bumble! Since I am tall enough to reach to put the star on top of the Christmas tree, I am my family’s Bumble, so he and I hit it off really well. Characters from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer have been coming to the park for years to meet kids (and kids-at-heart) and take part in the Christmas Parade.
Holiday Twists on Your Favorite Attractions
Your favorite Stone Mountain attractions have become merry and bright during Stone Mountain Christmas.
Stone Mountain’s Scenic Railroad becomes a Singalong Train during the holiday season. During this 5 mile journey, you’ll ride along the base of Stone Mountain singing along to famous Christmas Songs. The open-air train cars are decorated with lights and you can even spot some decorations set up around the mountain along the way.
The special Christmas Dino Glow Experience has been transformed so that you can see how the dinosaurs get into the Christmas spirit.
The park’s 4D Movie Theater has a special The Polar Express: The 4D Experience. During this movie, you’ll find that the true meaning of Christmas lies in your heart.
The Great Locomotive Chase Adventure Golf is all aglow with holiday lights. It was a cold night to be putt-putting around, but that didn’t stop us! With hot chocolate in hand, we made our way through 18 holes following the adventure of the stolen General locomotive, complete with Christmas lights.
And don’t miss this chance to take a winter hike to the summit of Stone Mountain. The cooler weather makes hiking to the summit of Stone Mountain a little easier than a summer hike. We took in the views, caught our breath, and played in the rock pools before making our way back down the mountain on the cable car.
The Swiss-cable-car-inspired Summit Skyride provides a stunning view of the Stone Mountain Christmas village all lit up for the holidays.
