Plate of comfort food from Lilah Gray in Newnan, Georgia with sliced fried chicken covered in creamy gravy, served with collard greens, a biscuit, and two fried mac and cheese bites. A cocktail with a dried citrus garnish, a water glass, and a salad in the background place the meal in a casual restaurant setting.

4. The Pharmacy Speakeasy

The space is small, cozy, and a little swanky, so it works especially well for a date night. Because seating is limited, make a reservation before you go by texting the number listed on their Facebook page.

The menu includes small appetizers, Prohibition-era cocktails. Since it’s such an intimate spot, I recommend making this your pre-dinner drink stop or heading here after dinner for a nightcap downtown.

Ice Cream, Dessert

You’ll find classic ice cream flavors on the menu, but I recommend going for the more creative options. I tried the Mexi Cocoa for a spiced twist on classic chocolate, and other flavors you might see include Honey Lavender, Orange Cardamom, and Blackberry Earl Grey.
