The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” Exhibition — Review
After its huge success in Europe, The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” opened in Atlanta for its North American debut. This massive street art exhibition features more than 155 pieces of Banksy’s art and recreations. Check out my review of The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits”.
A special thanks to The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” for hosting us in Atlanta. As always, all opinions are my own.
Banksy is probably the most famous street artist in the world, and the most mysterious. The British graffiti artist has managed to keep his identity a secret while creating hundreds of works of satirical street art.
The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” features more than 155 pieces of artwork. These include original artworks, prints, photos, sculptures, digital installations, murals, recreations, and more.
The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” is not an official Banksy show, but it does provide great insight into the unknown artist.
The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” Review
Enter the world of Banksy at The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits”. This massive street art exhibition will give you insight into the most famous street artist in the world.
The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” is open now in Guadalajara, Frankfurt, Adelaide, and Rio.
The Exhibition
You enter the exhibit through a fake security checkpoint made using Banksy’s stencil technique. Once inside, the exhibit opens up to rows and rooms of Banksy creations.
Banksy quotes adorn the walls, and each piece of art has a plaque describing the work and its often political and cultural commentary. As someone who knew very little about Banksy’s work before, I walked away having learned a lot.
In addition to original works, prints, and reproductions, there are various digital displays and videos that bring Banksy’s works to life. You can even watch a video of the Banksy piece that was shredded at an auction in 2018.
The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” is well worth a visit for any art enthusiast.
