1. “Welcome to Las Vegas” Sign
The “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign in the median of Las Vegas Boulevard South has been an iconic free destination since it was installed in 1959. It’s completely free to visit and get a picture with the sign, but it’s also an incredibly popular Vegas attraction, so plan to get there early and expect a line at all hours of the day.
2. Fountains of Bellagio Show

The Fountains of Bellagio at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino is a free fountain show synchronized to music and lights. During the 5 minute show, the fountains shoot water 460 feet in the air in a dazzling display. If you’re looking for a cheap and romantic thing to do in Vegas, this is it!
3. Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

The indoor Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is a free display of art and plants that the hotel changes out seasonally. This is the perfect spot to get those Instagram-worthy photos for free!
4. Fremont Street Experience
The Fremont Street Experience is a 5-block pedestrian mall in Downtown Las Vegas that’s free to walk around. The highlight here is the LED display that canopies the walkway, a 13,000-square-foot video screen with an ever-changing display. This is also the oldest part of Vegas with a lot of classic casinos. And they hold a free concert series in the spring and summer.
5. Hershey’s Chocolate World
📍 at New York New York Hotel & Casino
Hershey’s Chocolate World at New York New York Hotel & Casino is a huge Hersey’s-branded candy store. And while it’s not free to shop there (obviously), it is free to look around at all the unique products they offer. Plus, they have a sculpture of the Statue of Liberty made out of 800 pounds of Hershey’s Milk Chocolate, and another one made out of Twizzlers.
6. Flamingo Wildlife Habitat

The Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino has a free Flamingo Wildlife Habitat that covers 4 acres of gardens and has Chilean flamingos, brown pelicans, Koi fish, albino catfish, and turtles.
7. AREA15
AREA15 is an immersive entertainment venue. While things like the immersive experiences and axe throwing do cost money, you can usually get a free entry pass to just admire the art that’s in the district.
8. Explore the Elaborate Casinos and Hotels
Every hotel on the Las Vegas Strip has its own unique character, and it can be fun to just wander around each hotel and see what they have. It’s a free experience in art and architecture! And it feels like you’re taking a little trip around the world, from New York to Paris to Venice to Egypt.
9. Pool Day
Las Vegas hotels have some amazing pools, so if you’re staying at a resort with a pool, then it’s cheap and easy to have a pool day. The elaborate designs of the hotels often stretch as far as the pool as well, so there are some pretty unique pool experiences, like the desert oasis theme at Luxor or the 18+ Royal Pool at Excalibur.
10. Downtown Summerlin
Downtown Summerlin is an outdoor shopping center in the residential community of Summerlin with dining and entertainment that’s free to explore. They also have free events like a weekly farmers market and live music in the summer.
11. Downtown Container Park
The Downtown Container Park is a shopping center in Downtown Las Vegas built from shipping containers. You’ll spot it by the giant Praying Mantis outside. It’s free to explore their local shops, plus they have free daily live entertainment.
12. Gold & Silver Pawn Shop
The Gold & Silver Pawn Shop is the shop from the TV show “Pawn Stars!”. It’s free to visit the shop, plus there’s free parking, and you’re allowed to take pictures inside the shop. You can also occasionally meet the guys for autographs and pictures.
