7 Romantic Things to Do in Las Vegas for Couples

If you think Las Vegas is only for wild nights and bachelor parties, you’re missing its most glamorous secret — it’s an incredible destination for couples!

Kevin and I spent a full week exploring the Strip — watching the Bellagio fountains dance, planning a trip up the Eiffel Tower (which, heartbreakingly, was closed!), and discovering just how many romantic moments Vegas has to offer. Between this trip and the many romantic getaways we’ve taken together, we quickly realized Vegas delivers serious date-night magic.

Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary, honeymoon, or just want an unforgettable escape, here are the most romantic things to do in Las Vegas, from gondola rides at The Venetian to a playful mystery picnic date.

The skyline glows in warm pink and orange light as city lights begin to sparkle against the desert mountains in the distance.

Most Romantic Things to Do in Vegas

1. Have a Couple’s Spa Day

Indoor spa area at Nature Spa at Luxor in Las Vegas, Nevada, featuring a small tiled pool with bubbling water and a circular hot tub at one end. A curved mosaic tile wall with built-in water features lines the back, and stainless steel handrails lead into the softly lit, three-foot-deep pool.

Is there anything more romantic and relaxing than a couple’s massage?

Most hotels in Las Vegas have a spa. And if the hotel you’re staying at doesn’t, you can still visit any hotel’s spa without being a guest of that hotel.

You can book a couple’s massage, facials, or just get day passes to enjoy the spa’s facilities like hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms.

2. See the Fountains of Bellagio Show

Wide view of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas with the famous fountains spraying in synchronized arcs across the large turquoise pool. The grand cream-colored hotel rises in the background under a dramatic, cloudy sky.

The Fountains of Bellagio is a free show at the man-made lake in front of the Bellagio Hotel & Casino. It’s not only one of the best free things to do in Vegas, but it’s also super romantic (we love romance on a budget)!

The lake’s fountains are set to music and lights, with more than 1,000 feet of water soaring up to 460 feet into the air.

The shows only last about 5 minutes, and they happen every 30 minutes in the daytime and every 15 minutes at night. The night show is definitely more romantic, but it’s also more popular, so you’ll want to make sure you get there a little bit early to get a good spot.

3. Ride the High Roller Ferris Wheel

Tall palm trees frame a resort-style pool area in Las Vegas, with turquoise lounge chairs and calm blue water below. In the background, the High Roller, a large white observation wheel, rises behind a multi-story hotel building against a clear blue sky.

The High Roller is an observation wheel at The LINQ Hotel + Experience. At 550 feet, it’s the largest observation wheel in North America and one of the best, and most romantic, places to get 360-degree views of Vegas.

It takes 30 minutes to complete a revolution, and you’ll ride in a spacious, air-conditioned cabin. You can even bring individual outside beverages on for your ride, so grab a couple personal-sized bottles of sparkling wine for the trip!

Want to go all out for your date night? They have Happy Half Hour cabins where those 21+ can ride along with an open bar and bartender for their 30 minute ride. This takes dinner and drinks to a whole new level!

4. Take a Venetian Gondola Ride

Indoor canal scene at The Venetian in Las Vegas, with calm blue water winding between ornate Italian-style buildings. Arched balconies, glowing storefronts, and string lights line the walkways, while a painted sky ceiling with soft clouds creates a twilight atmosphere overhead.

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is a Venice-themed hotel, with replicas of famous landmarks and even their own canals.

You and your date can take a gondola ride on the hotel’s indoor or outdoor canals. These rides are complete with authentic Venetian gondolas, bridges, and a gondolier to serenade you.

I recommend getting a private boat ride for ultimate romance.

5. Visit the Paris Eiffel Tower

View of the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino with its replica Eiffel Tower rising into a clear blue sky. The ornate, Parisian-style façade with columns and statues sits in the foreground, while the tall cream-colored hotel tower stands behind it along the Las Vegas Strip.

Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino has a half-scale replica of the Eiffel Tower, and going up to the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck for panoramic views of the city is one of the best Vegas activities.

I mean, what’s more romantic than Paris, right?

Kevin and I seem to be foiled any time we try to take a Paris-related trip, because when we arrived in Vegas the observation deck was closed for weather conditions. Apparently this can be quite common with the desert winds, so even if you book ahead, you’re not guaranteed a trip up.

If you are visiting on a good weather day, you and your sweetheart will ride the elevator to the top of the 46 story tower for views of the Strip, the Bellagio fountain show, and Downtown Las Vegas that you can’t get anywhere else.

The observation deck is open during the day and in the evening, but of course nighttime is the most romantic time to go!
