Each of their wines is carefully crafted. On their wine list, you’ll find everything from a Pino Noir Rose to Merlot to a Sparkling Moscato.

2. Frogtown Cellars

At Frogtown Cellars, you’ll discover award-winning wines. This is one of Dahlonega’s best wineries, with varietals sourced from the Dahlonega Plateau AVA and Muscadine wines picked from their South Georgia vineyard.

When you visit, you’ll be greeted by rows of lush grapevines and an inviting tasting room surrounded by its scenic vineyards.

They also have an Italian Bistro onsite that serves lunch and snacks so you can dine while you sip. This is a popular spot for Sunday brunch, as well.

3. Cavender Creek Vineyards

Cavender Creek Vineyards & Winery is a small winery with a tasting room, a log cabin, and donkeys. Spend some time doing a wine tasting on their covered terrace and patio overlooking the vines.

They produce some wines from their own vineyard, including Petit Manseng, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and several Norton blends. Other varietals they source from California, Washington, and New York. Their menu changes often so there will also be something new you can try.

Naturally Georgia at the Bleu Gallery offers wine tastings from multiple Georgia vineyards (including my favorite South Georgia winery, Paulk Vineyards) and boasts the largest Georgia Grown wine list in the world.

You can choose tastings from more than 40 local wines, and afterwards, you can explore the local art in the Bleu Gallery.

2. Dahlonega Tasting Room

Dahlonega Tasting Room offers wines from Habersham Vineyards & Winery as well as mead and wine from Etowah Meadery, so this place isn’t just for wine-lovers.

They also sell cute honeybee home décor, garden decorations, and wine accessories. It’s your one-stop-shop for wine gifts!

3. Grapes & Ghosts Tasting Room

The Grapes & Ghosts Tasting Room is an offset of Dahlonega Walking Tours. At this tasting room, they serve wine from Georgia Winery in Ringgold.

The tour company is known for their ghost tours, and yes, they do a haunted wine tour that will take you to all these tasting rooms on the Square and tell you ghost stories. And, of course, the tasting room is also haunted.

4. Canvas and Cork Wine Tasting

Canvas and Cork is an art gallery that offers wine tastings, art classes, and wine and paint parties. Stop by for a tasting or a glass, and wander around the art gallery with wine in hand.

Their wines come from Gin Creek Vineyards in South Georgia.

Taste Wine & Coffee House started out with just a few local wines and now has the largest selection of local wines in Dahlonega.

This is more than just a tasting room, though. They also have coffee, a smoothie bar, and a wine store, so no one is left out, even your friends who don’t like wine.
