1. Enchanted Garden of Lights at Rock City Gardens

Lookout Mountain, Georgia

The award-winning light extravaganza Enchanted Garden of Lights at Rock City Gardens is one of the top Christmas lights displays in Georgia, and it’s bound to become your family’s new favorite tradition. The annual walk-through Christmas event features more than 30 holiday scenes from the Arctic Kingdom Aurora Lights to the Magic Forest to the Grand Corridor in Yule Town. You can also enjoy holiday shopping and visit with Santa. 

Event Dates: November 14, 2025 through January 4, 2026 from 4 p.m. — 10:30 p.m. and until 11:30 p.m. on Peak Nights.

2. Fantasy In Lights at Callaway Resort & Gardens

Pine Mountain, Georgia

Callaway Resort & Gardens‘ annual Fantasy in Lights holiday light show has been named one of the Top 10 light displays in the world by National Geographic. The 7-mile long drive-through display is filled with festive music and mesmerizing lights. This season, you can step out of the car and enjoy walking through the Callaway Christmas Village with larger-than-life Christmas scenes, a forest of decorated trees, seasonal snacks, and character meet-and-greets.

Event Dates: November 14, 2025 through January 4, 2026 from 6 p.m. — 11 p.m.

Price: Personal Vehicle Only Nights costs $20 per adult and $17 per child ages 4-12; Value Nights cost $25 per adult and $20 per child; Regular Nights cost $35 per adult and $30 per child; and Prime Nights cost $40 per adult and $50 per child. 5. Magical Nights of Lights at Lanier Islands

6. Lockerly in Lights at Lockerly Arboretum

Milledgeville, Georgia

Lockerly in Lights at Lockerly Arboretum in Milledgeville is back with walk-through nights and special drive-through nights on Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. This holiday light display features a winter wonderland filled with holiday cheer. The one mile display has quickly become a seasonal favorite.

Event Date: November 21, 2025 through December 20, 2025 on Fridays-Saturdays at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. Drive-Thru nights on November 27, 2025 and December 24, 2025.

Price: Walk-Thru: $10 for adults, $5 for children 3-12, and free for 2 and under. Drive-Thru: $15 per car online and $20 cash at the gate.

7. Wild Adventures Christmas Wild & Bright

Winter WonderLights at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia in Athens is a walk-thru holiday light show. Illuminated displays cover a half-mile path feature scenes like the Garden of Delights, Candy Cane Lane, and Cone Tree Plaza. Plus, there’s a new WonderLights Disco Nights this year.

Event Dates: Select nights from November 21, 2025 through December 30, 2025 from 5:30 p.m. — 9:45 p.m. Disco Nights on January 2, 2026 through January 3, 2026 and January 9, 2026 through January 10, 2026.

9. Lights of LIFE at Life University

Lights of LIFE at Life University is an annual tradition that runs from Thanksgiving Day to New Years Eve. Started in 1989, it is one of the most popular holiday light shows in Atlanta, covering a 1.5 mile drive with more than one million bulbs. The event also offers train rides, a petting zoo, and a concession stand.

10. Mountain Country Christmas in Lights at Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds

Hiawassee, Georgia

Mountain Country Christmas in Lights at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds is a family-favorite holiday event. Enjoy this magical walk-through holiday light show immersed in Christmas music along the shores of Lake Chatuge in the North Georgia Mountains. The event also features arts and crafts vendors, holiday food, hot chocolate, and a visit from Santa. They have a special Christmas Eve drive-through night this year as well!

Event Dates: November 27, 2025 through December 23, 2025 on select dates from 6 p.m. — 9 p.m. Special Drive-Thru night on December 24, 2025 from 6 p.m. — 9 p.m.

Price: $9 per person, children under 12 are free. Christmas Eve Drive-Thru Night costs $20 per car, cash only.

11. A Country Christmas at Pettit Creek Farms

Cartersville, Georgia

Pettit Creek Farms in Cartersville presents A Country Christmas where you can experience all the warmth and charm of a Southern family Christmas. Drive your own car or take a hayride through more than a mile of Christmas lights decorating the farm. The event also offers a chance to meet Santa and his reindeer, a nativity scene and petting zoo, campfires, s’mores, and more.

Event Dates: November 27, 2025 through December 30, 2025 from 6 p.m. — 9 p.m. (Tuesday-Thursday), 6 p.m. — 10 p.m. (Friday-Saturday), and 6 p.m. — 9 p.m. (Sunday). Closed on Mondays.

Price: Tuesday-Thursday prices: $30 per car (1-8 people), $35 per van (9-15 people) $45 per bus (16-22) and $3 for each additional person. Friday-Sunday prices: $35 per car, $40 per van, $50 per bus. $3 for each additional person for groups of more than 22. $10 per person for the hayride, ages 2+.

12. Macon Christmas Light Extravaganza

Macon, Georgia

Experience more than 1 million lights synchronized to music and spanning 4.5 city blocks in historic downtown Macon during the Macon Christmas Light Extravaganza. Your favorite Christmas carols are performed with a new twist by Macon Pops. Each show lasts about 45 minutes starting at the top of each hour.

Event Dates: November 28, 2025 through January 4, 2026 at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m., and 9 p.m. Lights stay on from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m.

13. Holly Jolly Jekyll Light Tours

Jekyll Island, Georgia

Jekyll Island is home to more than half a million lights during the Holly Jolly Jekyll event. The Great Tree has more than 35,000 lights, which is more per square foot than the NYC Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. Plus, the island has the Twelve Days of Christmas light displays that run from Great Dunes Beach Park to the Historic District. The Holly Jolly Jekyll Light Tour is one of the best ways to see the lights. This guided trolley tour takes you around the island with free festive beverages, holiday music, and access to the Mosaic, Jekyll Island Museum gallery.

15. Lights Along the River in Bainbridge

Bainbridge, Georgia

Head to the Earle May Boat Basin this holiday season for the Lights Along the River drive-through light display.
